Real Madrid want to sign a Catalan player
MADRID: Real Madrid are keen to sign midfielder Lazio midfielder Sergio Milenkoovic in the summer transfer market, Spanish press reports said.
The 22-year-old, who is now 22, has been playing for Lazio, making Meringhi want to strengthen his line with Milinkovic.
The Spanish newspaper "Marca" revealed that Sergey Milenkoevich was of Catalan origin. His father played in the Catalonia team in the 1990s, and the young man was present in the province of Catalonia before he set foot for the start of his career.
The newspaper pointed out that more than a large European team wants to contract with Sergei Milinkovic, but Real Madrid will end the deal in his favor, especially in light of the admiration of French Zinedine Zidane potential.
The contract ends with the Italian team in the summer of 2021, so Real Madrid officials will start negotiations with the Lazio administration until they reach a preliminary agreement to join the Royal Club.
