Luis Figo defends Zidane in Real Madrid

Luis Figo has supported Zinedine Zidane, his former colleague and current coach of Real Madrid, saying he is the right man for the Royal Club.

Luis Figo has criticized the criticism of Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane this season, noting that some have forgotten his achievements in the past seasons.

Zinedine Zidane led Real Madrid after the dismissal of Rafa Benitez, and achieved the Champions League season, and then the Spanish league and the Champions League, the European Super Cup and the Club World Cup.

Vigo told Sky Sports in Spain that the Real Madrid coach was always under pressure, demanding the championships, hopes and aspirations of the white fans.

"Real Madrid coaches are always under pressure. This is normal in Madrid. Achieving championships and fans' dreams is the number one goal," Figo said.
"Zidane has done a great job since taking up the job in difficult circumstances with Real Madrid after Rafa Benitez. Real Madrid is a difficult game for everyone."

"Zidane is one of the best footballers in history, he has to be given the opportunity to do more and he will do more with Real Madrid next time."
