France Football: Ronaldo wanted to move to Paris St Germain
FRENCH FOOTBALL (Reuters) - France's Cristiano Ronaldo was close to moving to Paris St Germain in 2012, the French football daily Fotbol said on Wednesday.
The newspaper said that Ronaldo was feeling insufficient support from the management of Real Madrid to get individual titles at this time.
"I want to go to Paris Saint-Germain," he said. "I think I will find full support from the French press and the masses will love my presence in Paris."
